Room in a shared flat

With a heavy heart, I (Julian) am leaving our shared flat with Lorenz (31) and Elli (33). Therefore, we are now looking for a third person for our house-WG with garden in Bäumlihof/Hirzbrunnen.
We live in a house with plenty of space and light: on the ground floor there is a large, modern kitchen with a dining area as well as an open living room, all with beautiful parquet and lots of sunlight. Additionally, we have a separate room that we use as a work and guest room.
On the first floor are the three WG-rooms and a bathroom. Furthermore, a large cellar with a laundry room and workshop is included. We also have our own courtyard with parking for 2 cars.
A special highlight is our garden, in which one can relax well, drink coffee or also occasionally make a fire. Generally, the apartment is very bright and open, and due to the size of the house, one has space for both communal living and enough opportunities to retreat.
The room is approx. 16 m² large, has a beautiful bay window, is bright and is equipped with real wood herringbone parquet.
The WG is located in Bäumlihof/Hirzbrunnen. The area is green and relaxed, at the same time one is quickly in the city and also the Rhine is easily reachable. Shopping facilities and public transport are nearby. On foot, one is at Badischer Bahnhof in 15 minutes.
We have been living together since April and wish for a relaxed, friendly WG.
Elli works as a nursing specialist in the UPK. In her free time, she likes being outdoors – whether with the bicycle, while swimming in the Rhine or in the garden. Additionally, she likes to knit and bake and plays ping pong from time to time. She very much likes living in WGs, likes the exchange and shared activities, but also always needs time for herself.
Lorenz has freshly moved to Basel after several years in Berlin and works at Roche. He is on the bicycle a lot – in everyday life or also occasionally on the MTB – and also likes to go swimming. He cooks a lot and enjoys it (vegetarian) and enjoys both time in nature as well as relaxed evenings at home. Cooking or eating together is just as much a part of it for him as occasional spontaneous activities, while at the same time he also appreciates quiet moments.
A relaxed, friendly togetherness is important to us. We like to spend time together, e.g. when cooking, cycling or in the garden, but respect just as much if someone wants their peace.
We look forward to someone who is open and uncomplicated and has a desire for a pleasant coexistence, with a good balance between community and independence.
Move-in is flexible by arrangement possible from mid-September. A sub-let/short-term rental is also basically conceivable.
